Got HTC Trophy a couple of days ago. Here’re things that MS shall improve in future release of WP updates.
1. Capture Screen Shot. It’s a pain that I cannot make a user’s manual about how to use ActiveSync via WP7 for my users…
2. Support hidden SSID. Hmmm. My company’s Wifi network is hidden, so I must connect to the PC with Zune opened all the time…
3. Chinese (and other language) input. Not able to type Chinese in web pages is really a pain.
4. Flash support. I used to make fun of Apple users. Microsoft, don’t do this to me…
Well, there’re other things that needs improvement. But pls pls fix the aboves!!!
For people who is now using TMG/ISA for password changing, please pay attention to the following thing.
Since TMG/ISA uses LDAPS (LDAP SSL) to authenticate with 2000/2003 DC when changing user’s password, if the certificate on a DC is renewed and old certificate is expired, the DC must be rebooted. Otherwise, authentication will be failed since 2000/2003 DC still uses the cached certificate (expired certificate) for authentication.
The event logs on TMG/ISA are:
ID=36881, Source=Schannel: The certificate received from the remote server has either expired or is not yet valid. The SSL connection request has failed. The attached data contains the server certificate.
ID=36888, Source=Schannel: The following fatal alert was generated: 45. The internal error state is 552.
Well, Live Space is now migrating to WordPress. This means that my space is now available to mainland China again (since the URL changed).
Just like I said, let’s see how long it can take…
